Midrange has been providing innovative solutions to the customer bases of HP,Sun Micro, IBM and EMC for the past 10 years. We started and continue to support customers who have machines that have been withdrawn from marketing by the manufacturers. Reliability, Availability and Serviceability at a reasonable price has been a cornerstone of Midrange since inception. Server support is not the only market in which we excel at providing exceptional value we also support a wide range of tape products for backup and restore purposes. Everything from IBM 3494 libraries to single drives( SDLT, LTO, LTO-2, 3590, 8mm) is supported through our used division. Did I mention we also install the above!

Before you commit your OS, servers, applications and data to tape. IT shops employ storage servers to flash copy to centralized storage such as IBMs Shark, EMCs Symmetrix, Hitachi's Lightening product. Midrange provides disk for all these products as well as complete machines again through our used division.

Adequately protected ? Most public companies are obliged to have a scaled copy of their production environment available off-site should an emergency happen. Midrange implements and tests your requirements using our large inventory of used equipment. Our site has everything from 3-phase power to fast T1,T3,E10 communication lines and a 250KWATT diesel generator to make it happen. We can even accommodate your people while they confirm the integrity of the system(s)!

Wanting to increase the OLTP workload from 10 transactions per sec to 30 without a hardware upgrade ? Midrange's database design group can make recommendations on better schema, keeping indexes to a minimum and more. We have all the major database products covered Oracle, DB2-Informix.
